WhatsApp for Android Beta


WhatsApp Beta for Android allows you to enjoy the newest additions to the messaging service before they hit the ultimate release on Google Play Store. the newest Beta (version 2.20.13) adds the long awaited Dark Theme feature. More instructions on the way to enable it are within the description below.

WhatsApp is out there for Android, iPhone / iOS and Windows / Mac. WhatsApp may be a cross-platform messaging service, so those devices can all message one another . Because WhatsApp Messenger uses an equivalent internet data plan that you simply use for email and web browsing, there's no cost to message and stay in-tuned together with your friends.

Dark Mode is finally here! to put in follow these instructions:
  • Download the file found here.
  • Open Whatsapp, touch the three dot menu within the upper right corner and choose Settings.
  • In Settings, select Chats (Theme, wallpapers, chat history)
  • In Chats, select Theme and within Theme you'll find Dark.


Previous releases:

You can now require a fingerprint to unlock WhatsApp. Tap Settings > Account > Privacy > Fingerprint lock and enable Unlock with fingerprint.

New Privacy Settings for Groups

WhatsApp groups still connect family, friends, coworkers, classmates and more. As people address groups for important conversations, users have asked for more control over their experience. Today, we're introducing a replacement privacy setting and invite system to assist you opt who can add you to groups.

To enable it, attend Settings in your app, then tap Account > Privacy > Groups and choose one among three options: "Nobody", "My Contacts", or "Everyone". "Nobody" means you will have to approve joining every group to which you're invited, and "My Contacts" means only users you've got in your address book can add you to groups.

In those cases, the person adding you to a gaggle are going to be prompted to send a personal invite through a private chat, supplying you with the selection of joining the group. you will have three days to simply accept the invite before it expires.

With these new features, users will have more control over the group messages they receive. These new privacy settings will begin rolling bent some users starting today and can be available worldwide within the coming weeks to those using the newest version of WhatsApp.
